About the event
Project G.L.O.W. (Girls Learning Opportunities and Wellness) introduces young girls, especially those from underserved communities, to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) to support cultivating a diverse, and well equipped workforce.
Through this multi-session program, we aim to arm young women with: (1) an introduction to STEAM concepts through hands-on activities, (2) awareness of STEAM occupations, (3) exposure to social-emotional learning content, and (4) a sense of community and collective experience through a cohort dynamic.
The program will be free of cost to participants (spots limited; registration required). ***This program is only open to Mt. Calvary Church attendees.***
The Inspire program builds joy, excitement, belonging, and empowerment through interactive, hands-on activities. Inspire program is designed for girls in 3rd-5th grade.
