About the event

Project G.L.O.W. (Girls Learning Opportunities and Wellness) introduces young girls, especially those from underserved communities, to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) to support cultivating a diverse, and well equipped workforce.

Through this multi-session program, we aim to arm young women with: (1) an introduction to STEAM concepts through hands-on activities, (2) awareness of STEAM occupations, (3) exposure to social-emotional learning content, and (4) a sense of community and collective experience through a cohort dynamic.

The program will be free of cost to participants (spots limited; registration required).

The Change Makers program builds joy, excitement, belonging, and empowerment through culturally relevant, story-based learning. The interactive sessions will include hands-on activities. Change Makers program is designed for girls in 6th-8th grade.
