Expanding our impact: STEAM Forward! Foundation

At STEAM Forward! Academy, we strive to create a dynamic learning environment that nurtures curiosity, fosters collaboration, and cultivates a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). We believe that by integrating these disciplines, we can unlock the limitless potential within each student and equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the ever-evolving global landscape.

Our Mission

1. To inspire students to pursue science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) with confidence, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine sense of belonging.

2. To foster creativity and innovation through hands-on learning.

3. To expose K-12 students to career opportunities and empower them to achieve their dreams.

Our Vision

Our vision is to empower and inspire the next generation of innovators, problem solvers, and creative thinkers. We envision a world where all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances, have access to high-quality STEAM education and opportunities.

Our Programs

Service Name

Project G.L.O.W. (Girls Learning Opportunities and Wellness) introduces young girls and gender-expansive youth, especially those from underserved communities to STEAM. Through this multi-session program, we aim to arm young women with: (1) an introduction to STEAM concepts through hands-on activities, (2) awareness of STEAM occupations, (3) exposure to social-emotional learning content, and (4) a sense of community and collective experience through a cohort dynamic.

Service Name

STEAM Forward! Saturdays is our virtual program that exposes K-5 students to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through exciting hands-on activities. Each activity involves low-cost, commonly found household items. Students follow along in an exploratory manner.

The cohort model and virtual platform allow students to connect with others from around the world as they engage in the learning process.
